Ice Ice baby.....

Lots of ice and water and gator ade lately.....not that it does any good.

We saw another day this past week that was over 110 degrees. There was a report that someone in Texas died....lying on his couch in his home.....from the heat.

Sadly, he was a cousin of one of my friends back home.

We had a half hour of rain a couple of days ago. It seems to have done nothing of any real value, since we are in a drought. It did manage to raise the humidity for a few hours, during which we had dance rehearsal. THAT was fun....

The performance is this weekend down in Lawton, which is apparently an hour or two away. For some reason, we head down there hours and hours early, hang out, have lunch....etc. Make a day of it. A very long day.....

Sad to see it come and go. I've really been enjoying the twice weekly workouts. Have lost 6 pounds and kept them off.

One of the girls in the troupe has lost 75 pounds since we started dancing....so it's been even more profoundly good for her.

Hopefully, I will get some pictures eventually that I can post.
