Sunday evening

It's been a good weekend. I am finally relaxing a bit. Slept for 11 hours Friday night/Saturday morning, and for 9 hours last night. I needed it VERY much....

After a couple of errands, we got our bikes out yesterday and took a 4 mile ride. At the half way point, Dave turned to me and said "I feel really good!" He wasn't winded, or having any chest tightness or discomfort. He felt good!!

Oddly, the shortness of breath that came out of nowhere several weeks ago, that the doctor said couldn't have been caused by the medications, seems to have gone away after a change in....you guessed it...medications.

Dave probably didn't need the angio, or the 2 days in the hospital brought about by the angio. He just needed his meds adjusted.

The next doctor visit is coming up on Thursday. I am sure that Dave plans to discuss this matter, and so we'll see what comes next.

We were gonna take Dave's mom out for lunch today, but she decided she didn't want to see us, and didn't want to go out. She was too tired.

She's got every right to spend Mothers' Day however she wants, and she wanted to be left alone.

So, we had the bonus of a lazy first half of the day, then went to the movies this afternoon with my step son, who wished me a happy mothers' day *glow.*

Saw "Iron Man 2."

It was meh. They tried too hard, and it was pretty stupid in parts. Cool effects and all, but meh. I liked the first one a lot better.

Made a batch of beef and black bean burritos when we got home, and have laundry going.

It's been way too dry here for the "rainy season," and we've been hoping for rain for a couple of weeks now. It's finally raining. Let's hope it actually rains enough for a few days, and gently enough, to do some good.

If not, Dave said the fire season will be harsh this year.

Have a good week, everyone!
