Meet Carma

So...this happened yesterday.

When I first saw a lime green Mazda 2, I squealed and said "OH MY GOD, LOOK AT THAT CAR, IT'S SO CUTE!"

Since then, any time I've seen a little lime green car, I've commented to Dave on how fun and bright and cute they are.

So he started saying that we should consider trading in my black Toyota Matrix with the manual transmission for a cute little green car.

I kept saying we don't need a new car.  My car is paid for, has been for years.  I like my Toyota, and I like my manual transmission.

But Dave does not like manual transmissions, and he was slowly trashing my Toyota.  No lie...LOL...

So I let him talk me into at least imagining the possibility of replacing my 10 year old car before anything really catastrophically expensive needed to be repaired or replaced on it.

We spent yesterday doing test drives and saying no to dealers who didn't want to sell us a car for a price we could afford, until we passed by the lot this one was on.

I never expected to get a Mazda 2... kind of cool how that worked out, so her name is Carma.

She's a 2011 with 50K miles. Very clean, certified pre-owned, with lots of warranty left.  Lots of git up and go, and very solid and clean.  We done good, I hope.

And now I have a car payment again.  Blah.  OH well.  Most people do, I guess.
