Back to the grind

The past week was pretty intense at work, trying to get stuff caught up, and doing month end tasks at the same time.

Glad it's over.

Next week should be more "normal."

I have my monthly injection this coming Thursday, and then, a week from Friday is scan day.

Today, I don't feel all that great.  We did a little bit of drinking yesterday, and it seems that I have adapted to drinking less, so that when I DO drink, I feel even more like crap the next day than I used to.

Oh well.  It's all good.

Today, while Dave does his dad's errands, I am cleaning the drained hot tub.  It was time to refresh it.

We purchased it 3 years ago this week, at the state fair, and have never regretted that investment, even though we are still paying for it.

We had another deluge of rain yesterday.  I wonder if any water got in the building I work in.  Probably.

We went to breakfast at Cattlemen's restaurant this morning, and I overheard that the state fair had to move everyone who was there during the storm into the buildings.... Ugh....

It's been a pretty rainy year, which is good.  We have mushrooms in our yard.

So far, the alternate medication I am trying is still causing me to have pain in my joints.  It's different than it was on the other med, but it's still there.  I am giving it time, though.

I have finally found a couple of massage therapists who are willing to trade with me!  I get my first massage next weekend.

I went ahead and renewed my AMTA membership, as I recently found out that state licensure is about to happen in Oklahoma.  If I can get grandfathered in with my national certification before it expires on Dec. 31st, I will go ahead and do that.

If not, I will just retire as I had planned to do anyway.

State licensure changes things, though, because I will be able to practice legally (I let my local license expire a while back, because it's absurd), and renewal is only $25.00, there is no back ground check required, and no office inspection required.

We'll see what happens.

Okay, back out to wipe the tub down.  I already did the first step, scrubbing it out with a sponge and soapy water.

Have a good Sunday!
